Odiham is the smartest village on our patch, a proper Georgian high street, listed frontages, and RAF Odiham's Chinooks overhead often enough that locals stop noticing them. It's about six miles from Fleet, twenty minutes through the lanes, and we cover RG29 alongside the core GU51 and GU52 work. Housing runs from period cottages on and around the high street to post-war closes at the edges, and the older places keep us busy with cracked clay drains and tired original pipework.

We usually come in through Crookham Village and Dogmersfield, dropping onto the A287 near the village. The Basingstoke Canal skirts the north side, with the ruins of King John's Castle along the towpath at North Warnborough. Our opinion, for what it's worth: relining was invented for places like Odiham. Nobody wants a trench through a listed frontage or an old brick path, and with clay runs this age we can nearly always rebuild the pipe from the inside.
